OpenCode Desk is a macOS desktop application that lets a user publish and manage their own content across the social media accounts they personally connect to it (for example: Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, Pinterest, and Gumroad).
When you connect a social platform, OpenCode Desk uses that platform's official OAuth flow. You sign in directly with the platform, and the app receives an access token limited to the permissions you approve (for example, permission to post to your own account).
You can disconnect any platform at any time, either inside the app or by revoking the app's access from that platform's account settings (for example, "Apps and Website Permissions" on Instagram/Threads, "Connected apps" on TikTok, "Connected accounts" on Pinterest). Revoking access invalidates the token stored on your Mac.
Because all credentials are stored locally, uninstalling the app and emptying the Trash removes all stored tokens from your machine. If you would like confirmation that any data associated with your use of the app has been deleted from our side, contact us at the address below — we retain no user data server-side.
